20 most dangerous countries on Earth
It is no secret that some countries are better suited for tourism than others, and one of the evaluation criteria in this case is security.
Recently, the World Economic Forum published its report on tourism competitiveness, which analyzed the tourism sector in 136 countries. As part of this report, experts rated the security of each country. The following ranking presents the most dangerous states for travelers, in which there is a very high risk of suffering from internal (and external) military conflicts, violence and terrorism. When compiling the rating, minor crimes were not taken into account.
Democratic Republic of the Congo
In many parts of the state, the Congolese armed forces are active, as well as other armed groups and bandit groups. The situation in Congo is very tense.
Thailand
The most dangerous are the southern provinces of Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and Songkhla. Over the past 13 years, violence in these areas has claimed more than 6,500 lives.
Jamaica
