The tragicomic life of Japanese businessmen in 10 true photographs

Photographer David Tesinsky traveled to Japan, where he took a series of photographs dedicated to Japanese businessmen. He called his project "Man-Machine" because he believes that the characters in his shooting are very similar to robots.

The author says that for many years they go out to drink with colleagues and clients, returning home drunk at 2 a.m., and then get up at dawn to go back to the office. Sometimes they just sleep on the street, because they cannot afford a taxi, because they are just pawns in huge corporations. They work 14 hours a day or more.

Japanese hard workers roam the streets like ghosts focused on their own careers. The saddest thing is that their careers are not at all as bright and dizzying as they seem to themselves.
