Event objectives - promotion of a healthy lifestyle, the promotion of environmentally friendly sports, the appeal of citizens to engage in sports in Moscow reservoirs.

SUP (paddle surfing) - A new, versatile sport that has gained great popularity around the world, due to its advantages: ease of development without special training, the ability to leave your home to immediately “go on vacation”, explore native lakes, canals, rivers. The chairman of the tourism development committee Andrei Mushkarev commented: "I ride on the board for five years. This is the fastest growing sport. According to the statistics of the International Fitness Association, in two years every fifth person on the planet will stand on the board with a paddle.". Mushkarev even promised to put on the board all the staff of his committee.
