How India Monkey Criminals Are Punished

Who would have thought that in Mumbai, India, not only people, but also animals can be punished for disturbing public order. But what remains for them when some of the monkeys living nearby terrorize the locals so much that they simply will not save.

For example, recently, a gang of 3-4 monkeys has been bothering people with its terrible behavior for six months. Fortunately, a professional monkey catcher recently managed to catch one of them. She was accused of stealing food, spoiling pillows, screaming loudly and other inappropriate deals.

Before putting the criminal in a cage, she was tied tightly for educational purposes.

What may seem somewhat cruel, but such measures are simply necessary. Because if this animal is not stopped in time, it will start to behave much worse.

In India, monkeys are revered. And although they very often litter in the streets, in offices, on roofs of houses and sometimes even attack people to take food from them, they are rarely subjected to such public punishment.

Many came to look at the trespasser tied hand and foot. It seems that she managed to annoy a considerable number of residents.

However, the punishment did not last long, and very soon the animal was untied, locked in a cage and given grapes.

In the cage, the "prisoner" felt quite comfortable. She ate grapes and looked lonely at everyone from across the rods.

As soon as the veterinarian examines the uneducated animal, a "link" is waiting for him.

According to local authorities, the monkey will be released into the wild in the countryside north of Mumbai, where it will live.

I would like to hope that the animal that has strayed from the right path has realized its guilt, will completely recover and will continue to live a respectable monkey life.
