The photographer took unearthly photos in a mysterious place White Sands

Near the southern border of New Mexico there is a completely alien place with fantastic landscapes, it is called White Sands. The national monument, representing endless white dunes, amazes with its deserted views and often disorientates brave travelers. But for photographer Navid Barati, these traits have made White Sands an even more attractive place.

For five days he traveled around New Mexico, but he did not find a more atmospheric and exciting location for shooting. Here Barati took amazing photos reflecting the surprisingly calm, even otherworldly beauty of the local landscapes. He shot at sunset and dawn to show how the White Sands changes shape depending on the lighting.
