Belgian photographer Pascal Mannaerts has been traveling the world for over 10 years, trying to "portray humanity in its most powerful forms." Asia, Africa, Latin America, North Africa and the Middle East have repeatedly been in its lens.

“When I started traveling around the world and taking pictures, I immediately noticed that I like to wake up very early to discover a new place. It's all about the amazing morning light, how to start a new day in an unknown place, with an open and completely updated mind "“says Mannaerts.

He adds that early morning is the perfect moment to feel the atmosphere of any new place that he explores. Therefore, the photographer began to get up early on his every trip, developing a habit that eventually resulted in a series of photographs “8 am around the world.”
